Cloudland at McLemore Resort has achieved an accolade given to fewer than 6% of the nearly 23,000 hotels reviewed by AAA: the prestigious AAA Four Diamond designation. The designation is awarded to hotels that offer an upscale experience with a high degree of hospitality, style and attention to detail.
Properties being considered undergo a rigorous evaluation process, including unannounced, in-person inspections and anonymous overnight stays by AAA’s expert inspectors. The Four Diamond designation signifies that guests can expect sophisticated accommodations, enhanced amenities and an elevated level of service. There are currently 1,750 Four Diamond Hotels and 535 Four Diamond restaurants across the country.
“Earning the AAA Four Diamond designation within our first year of operation is an extraordinary achievement and a testament to the dedication of our entire team,” said Mike Burton, managing director of McLemore Resort. “From the moment we opened our doors, our goal has been to set a new standard for elevated hospitality in the Southeast. This recognition affirms our commitment to delivering an exceptional experience for every guest who visits Cloudland.
“Each day provides a unique opportunity for us to make a difference in the guest experiences we offer. This recognition inspires us to continue to raise the bar we’ve set for Cloudland. We look forward to welcoming guests to the newest AAA Four Diamond hotel in the country.”
