The Cleveland State mens golf team competed in The Ron Marshall Invitational Spring Fling hosted by Illinois Central in Scottsboro, AL.
"We started off rough, but made a nice comeback and ended in 5th place out of 15 teams," head coach Shannon Skipper said.
Andrew McCarver placed 15th with a +16 final score while Carson Minish finished in 20th at +17 for the Cougars.
Minish shot +2 on the second day of the tournament for Cleveland's best score, and McCarver finished at +3 on each of the final two days.
"We hit the road this weekend heading to Foley, Alabama competing in The Jefferson State Invitational," Skipper said.
