Brenda Michelle Sampley Roberts, 64, of Soddy Daisy, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.

She was the cherished mother of three children, Jeremy (Maggie), Amber (Andrew), and Rose (Jerry). A proud grandmother of seven — Makayla, Mackenzie, Kylee, Korbyn, Payton, Braxton, and Brooks — each brought her immense joy and purpose. Brenda also leaves behind her beloved partner of 10 years, Dan Chumley, along with his children and grandchildren, all of whom held a special place in her heart.

A lifelong Tennessee Vols fan, Brenda bled orange through every season — win or lose. Her enthusiasm was infectious, her fall Saturdays sacred, and her spirited cheers will echo in our memories.

She leaves behind a family who will miss her deeply, but who will carry her love and strength always. She will be warmly welcomed at the heavenly gates by her dear parents and her husband of 33 years, who preceded her in death.

Brenda had a generous spirit, a quick wit, and a smile that could light up any room. Her love was fierce, her humor sharp, and her presence irreplaceable.

We were fortunate to have her, and her love will stay with us always.

Per her wishes, cremation will take place, and no formal service will be held.

Arrangements are by Legacy Funeral and Cremation Center, 8911 Dallas Hollow Road, Soddy Daisy, Tn. 37379, 423 843-2525.
