Jeannine May Sackett, 89, of East Brainerd, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, April 17, 2025, in a local health care facility.

A resident of Chattanooga for the past five years, Mrs. Sackett spent much of her life in Southern California.

Most of her career has been in business management for assisted living facilities.

Mrs. Sackett was a member of Rock Point Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Lee Sackett.

She is survived by her sons, Jeffrey Sackett, Chattanooga and Joel Sackett, Wenatchee, Wa.; two grandchildren, Jessica (Alan) Sackett, Wenatchee, Wa.; Julie (Nathan) Jackson, East Ridge; great-granddaughter, Piper Grace Jackson; sister, Sharon Mechake; five brothers, Jack Pershall, Bill (Donna) Pershall, and Danny (Linda) Pershall, all of Wenatchee, Wa.; Lee (Mary Kay) Pershall, Reno, Ne., and David Pershall, Houston; many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 24, at Heritage Funeral Home East Brainerd Chapel with Pastor Jeremy Beeler officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service.

Burial will follow at the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
