The Panthers didn't flinch as they scored four runs in their first at-bats to take the lead.

Covenant had its eighth-inning rally start with an infield error by Ferrum that allowed a run to score. Cecil, Gilbert, and Bell each delivered extra-base hits that scored four more runs and put Covenant ahead 13-10.
