India Talwar Of Chattanooga Inducted Into UA Mortar Board Honor Society

The University of Alabama honored the achievement of numerous students, faculty and staff during the annual Tapping on the Mound ceremony April 4.

As a part of the ceremony, several students were inducted into the Mortar Board National Honor Society including India Talwar of Chattanooga.

Mortar Board, a national honor society for men and women, is based on leadership, scholarship and service. It is one of the highest honors that can be granted to seniors. Members must display outstanding dedication to service and leadership.

Mortar Board is the premier national honor society recognizing college seniors for superior achievement in scholarship, leadership and service. UA's Hypatia Chapter is one of the oldest chapters in the nation.
