It was moving day as the second round of the CCS Championship commenced at Dalton Country Club. At the end of the round, Covenant found itself in fourth place at (+38), four shots back from third-place LaGrange. The Scots shot (+25) for the day.
Drew Silman started the day with a three-shot lead and that is where it still stands after shooting 73 (+1), putting him at (-4) for the tournament. The Louisiana native got off to a hot start, making birdies on two of his first three holes, however a triple-bogey seven on the 15th hole drew the field closer to him.
Sitting in 15th place is Titus Cooke, who shot 78 (+6) to put his 36-hole score at (+10). The senior shot 39 on both the front and back nine.
Ayden Cordell remained in 17th place for the Scots, shooting 79 (+7) to put him at (+13) for the tournament.
In a tie for 27th is Grant Little at (+20). He shot 83 (+11) and dropped two places on the leaderboard.
Rounding out the Covenant lineup on the leaderboard as it currently stands is Bo Luff at (+21). He shot 85 (+13) today and is tied for 29th.
Covenant tees it up in the final round tomorrow morning.
