Covenant's Silman Maintains Lead At CCS Golf Championship With One Day Left

  • Tuesday, April 29, 2025

It was moving day as the second round of the CCS Championship commenced at Dalton Country Club. At the end of the round, Covenant found itself in fourth place at (+38), four shots back from third-place LaGrange. The Scots shot (+25) for the day.

Drew Silman started the day with a three-shot lead and that is where it still stands after shooting 73 (+1), putting him at (-4) for the tournament. The Louisiana native got off to a hot start, making birdies on two of his first three holes, however a triple-bogey seven on the 15th hole drew the field closer to him.

Sitting in 15th place is Titus Cooke, who shot 78 (+6) to put his 36-hole score at (+10). The senior shot 39 on both the front and back nine.

Ayden Cordell remained in 17th place for the Scots, shooting 79 (+7) to put him at (+13) for the tournament.

In a tie for 27th is Grant Little at (+20). He shot 83 (+11) and dropped two places on the leaderboard.

Rounding out the Covenant lineup on the leaderboard as it currently stands is Bo Luff at (+21). He shot 85 (+13) today and is tied for 29th.

Covenant tees it up in the final round tomorrow morning.
