Siskin Children’s Institute announces the launch of its new Pediatric Physical Therapy Program, expanding its continuum of services designed to support children from infancy through adolescence.

Officials said, "Rooted in compassion and clinical expertise, this dynamic program aims to help children improve mobility, strength, balance and independence—all in a warm, fun and kid-friendly environment. Whether recovering from an injury, facing challenges related to motor development or living with a chronic condition, children now have access to a customized, goal-oriented physical therapy program right here in Chattanooga."

“We’re here to help children reach their goals—whether it’s taking their first steps or improving strength and coordination for daily activities,” said Don Mueller, CEO of Siskin Children’s Institute.
“This program reflects our commitment to whole-child care and empowering families along the way.”

Pediatric Physical Therapy Services Include:
• Traditional Therapy to enhance strength, mobility, and independence;
• Neuro-intensive Rehab (Dynamic Movement Intervention – Level A);
• Functional Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation (TASES);
• Vestibular Rehabilitation for balance and dizziness;
• Orthotic and Equipment Management;
• Early Powered Mobility Training; and
• Gross Motor Milestone Monitoring & Infant Stimulation Programs.

Children with motor delays, neurological and genetic conditions, gait and balance disorders, post-surgical needs and more can benefit from Siskin’s specialized outpatient rehabilitation.

Families with limited English proficiency will also have access to free interpretation and translation services to ensure clear communication and inclusive care.

"Leading this new offering is Neha Mehta, PT, MS, a highly experienced and compassionate physical therapist with more than 10 years of experience working with medically complex children across age ranges," officials said. "She specializes in neuromuscular rehabilitation and takes a collaborative, family-centered approach to care."
