GNTC Foundation Awards 51 Scholarships To High School Graduates

The Foundation at Georgia Northwestern Technical College awarded 51 scholarships totaling more than $36,000 to 48 graduating high school seniors in the northwest Georgia region.
 
Recipients of the Chattooga High School Alumni Scholarship are Connor Elrod, Micheal Cordle II, McKenzie Evans, Akeyla Hendrix and Preslee Hurley. 
 
Gisselle Tome, Coosa High School, has been awarded the Hix Family Scholarship.
 
Yazmen Aldaba, North Murray High School; Keren Garcia, Murray County High School; and Carter Thompson, North Murray High School, received the McDaniel Family Foundation Scholarship.
Aldaba also received the GNTC Foundation High School Graduate Scholarship.
 
Thompson and James Lopez, Murray County High School, were awarded the Kirby Patterson Memorial Scholarship. 
 
Recipients of the David Adam Scholarship are Cedartown High School students Madison Crawford and Daisy Tema-Lopez. Ms. Crawford also received the GNTC Foundation High School Graduate Scholarship.
