Day Shift May 20: B Squad
25-005316 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Found Property
Police responded to the inn after a guest found a firearm stuffed under the mattress in the motel room.
The item was retrieved and placed into Property and Evidence for safekeeping since it was not entered into NCIC as stolen.
25-005320 – 1300 BLK Greens Lake Road – Intoxicated Party/Assist EMS
Police responded to this location with HCEMS on several occasions due to the intoxicated caller requesting assistance after feeling ill from self-induced exposure to alcohol. Upon responders arriving on scene, the party on more than one occasion refused/denied assistance. During the last response to assist EMS, police advised the party it would behoove her to be assisted by EMS to a hospital facility due to her current physical state and condition.
25-005321- 3900 BLK Bennett Road – Disorder
While police were investigating a disorder, an arrest warrant out of sessions court was verified for one of the subjects involved. The subject was detained and transported to Hamilton County Jail.
25-005328- 400 BLK Broughton Street – Fraud
A woman contacted police to report suspected fraud involving a FedEx-delivered "Demand Letter" from a car dealer, addressed to a party at her rental property. She stated the addressee had never lived at the home. The dealership advised her to file a police report after she reported the issue to them. She later followed up, stating the dealership informed her the letter and associated vehicle were stolen and had been reported to CPD.
25-005330 – 100 BLK Arnold Drive – Disorder/Warrant Service
A man reported his daughter’s ex-boyfriend was asleep in an upstairs bedroom and was not supposed to be on the property. The caller also advised the subject had a Forfeiture Capias for Criminal Trespassing. Officers located the subject in an upstairs closet where he was taken into custody and then transported to Hamilton County Jail where he was served with the warrant and booked. He was also advised not to return to the property.
25-005332- 3600 BLK Shirl Jo Lane- Disorder Prevention
Police were called about an ongoing argument. When the police arrived, the parties were already separated, and the resident was advised on how to evict the other party. Officers remained on scene while a party collected her belongings to separate herself from the situation.
25-005333 – 1600 BLK S. Seminole Drive – Found Property
The resident of this location reported finding an expired Georgia license plate on her property. It was secured and placed in a proper location.
Night Shift May 20: D Squad
25-005338 – 3600 BLK Bennett Road – Wires Down
A fallen tree limb caused a power outage in the 3600 block of Bennett Road. Police and Fire blocked traffic while EPB repaired the wires.
25-005343 – 3600 BLK Ringgold Road – Disorder
A customer spat at an employee before leaving the store after the employee was unable to find a particular item he wanted. Police were unable to identify the suspect.
25-005340- 700 BLK Germantown Circle – Disorder
Officers were dispatched to the address above regarding several people outside yelling at each other. All parties involved were asked to cease communication and go inside their homes.
25-005342- 5300 BLK Ringgold Rd- Check well-being
Officers were dispatched to check on the well-being of a male with red hair and a red shirt running in the road. They were unable to locate the male at the time. A short time later, officers located the male and identified him. He was asked to stop running in the road.
25-005349- 300 BLK Camp Jordan Pkwy- Assault in Progress
A female caller reported a subject in a truck had assaulted her and hit her in the head with a gun. Police located the subject and identified him. Following the on-scene investigation the suspect was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault, Aggravated Sexual Battery, Aggravated Kidnapping, Patronizing Prostitution, and Possession of a Firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony. He was transported to Hamilton County jail without incident.
25-005346 – 1400 BLK McBrien Road – Unknown Medical
Police responded with fire and EMS to the above location for a report of an infant not breathing. When officers arrived at the scene, the child was breathing. It was determined that the child was experiencing a seizure. EMS transported the child for further treatment.
25-005351 – 601 Justice Way – Warrant Service
A woman was served a warrant for forgery while in custody at the Hamilton County Jail.
