Chattanooga Mocs head coach Gavin McKinney revealed another strong schedule for the 2025 soccer season.
“Very excited for the 2025 season,” McKinney said. “As always, we’ve put together a challenging schedule for the squad. We return a strong core and have made some excellent additions. Expectations and ambitions will be high this fall.”
The preseason starts with a pair of home exhibitions against Georgia State and Tennessee soon after reporting for camp. The season kicks off at home against Winthrop on August 14.
Also on the home slate for the Mocs in non-conference play is Indiana State, Morehead State, North Alabama and Belmont. UTC will hit the road for Alabama, Austin Peay, Tennessee Tech and make a return trip to take on Xavier in Cincinnati.
Southern Conference action begins on September 18 at home against Wofford. Back-to-back road trips to Samford and UNCG Greensboro are next before returning to Finley Stadium to host Mercer. The Mocs are on the road again at ETSU and The Citadel, come back to the Scenic City to host Furman and VMI and then close out the season at Western Carolina.
The SoCon Tournament begins October 28 with the first round at home sites and concludes on November 8 or 9 at the site of the highest remaining seed.
