Paul Gene Adcock, 92, passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at his residence surrounded by his family.

He was born in Coalfield, Tn. on May 4, 1932, to the late Joe and Marie Adcock. Paul was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Red Bank. Paul accepted Christ as his Savior in 1969 when two men visited his home and shared with him the plan of salvation. He was at home until his passing and enjoyed nothing more than his children, grandchildren, and friends visiting him.

Including his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his sisters, Judy Adcock, Anne Presley, Betty Powers and Mary Ruth Wright and a beloved granddaughter, Ashley Marie Adcock.

Paul is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 68 years, Shelby; their children, Darrell (Rhonda), Gina (Ron), Bob (Lisa), Edwin (Jennifer), Brad and Elaine; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; his brother, Roger Adcock and his sister, Bernie King.

A special thank you to Clinch River Home Healthcare and Gentiva Hospice for their kindness and compassion to Paul, Shelby, and the family.

The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 13, at the funeral home.

A private family graveside will be held at the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
