Alderman Enterprises announces what officials describe as "perhaps its most transformative investment to-date" – the addition of Jonathan Hartley as managing partner.
"Jonathan brings extensive executive experience from roles in operational leadership, investment banking and private equity," officials said.
Mr. Hartley previously served as managing director at Croft & Bender, executive chairman of Displayit and CEO of Carousel Designs before its acquisition by Crown Crafts. A native of Atlanta, Mr. Hartley is a husband and father of four and a West Point graduate.
Alderman also recently invested in its core finance and accounting capabilities, adding Ryan Nichols as an analyst to support Alderman’s industry research, transaction diligence, M&A integration and financial reporting functions.
This May, Alderman Enterprises celebrates its 10th anniversary.
“Our first 10 years was marked by exciting growth and progress, as well as profound change and tragedy,” said Alderman’s Founder Ben Brown. “Through it all, I’m proud we’ve consistently upheld our founding commitment to do business the right way, with the right people, for the long-term.
“Looking ahead, with a best-in-class investment and leadership team, a proven model and a wave of pent-up transitions still to come in the years ahead, I’m more bullish than ever on our ability to scale and succeed in Alderman’s next 10 years.”
Officials said, "Alderman’s defining attribute from day one has been its evergreen investment approach. By investing with an indefinite holding period, Alderman can pursue the critical investments in people, systems and equipment that support durability to reduce risk and scalability to expand returns. Alderman’s long-term focus also respects and perpetuates company legacies and affords stability and advancement opportunity for their people."
