LeKisha Quanette White
LeKisha Quanette White was born on April 19, 1980, in Chattanooga, Tennessee. On Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at the age of 45, she peacefully went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, while at a local hospital.
Kisha was a proud 1998 graduate of Howard High School. She later pursued higher education at Virginia College, where she earned a certification in massage therapy. She began her professional journey at Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC), where her dedication and leadership led her to the position of general manager. For the past 12 years, she was employed with Xanitos, where she served as a lien distribution manager and worker.
In her youth, Kisha was a faithful member of Hamlett Chapel C.M.E. Church. She was known for her warm heart, generous spirit, and deep love for her family. A devoted mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend, Kisha touched the lives of many with her kindness and strength.
She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Antwain Monfort, Jr.; her father, Lorenzo White; her brother, Anthony White; her grandparents, Ophelia Moten, Opal E. White, and Calvin Wellington; and her special aunt and uncle, Tina White and Jeffery Careathers.
Kisha leaves to cherish her memory two loving children, Accacia Monfort and Justin Monfort; her mother, Stephanie Dillard; the father of her children, Antawin Monfort Sr.; two brothers, LaJuan White and Levar (Tinika) Borkman, all of Chattanooga, T; five nieces, including Aaliyah and Lauren White; four nephews, including Lorenzo White; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, extended family, and dear friends.
Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Kisha will lie in state on Friday, June 13, at 9 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel.
