It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Kari Lynn Parsons, 41, who passed away suddenly on June 6, 2025.

Kari was born on April 17, 1984, and was the beloved daughter of the late Jerry and Linda Parsons. She was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga, and attended East Ridge High School, later earning her diploma from Georgia Northwestern Technical College in 2011.

Kari was a Christian woman and a proud member of City Light Church, where she found strength, community, and joy. She made the faithful decision to give her life to Christ and was baptized, cherishing her church family deeply.

Kari was a devoted mother and grandmother, known for her radiant smile, contagious laugh, and bold personality. She was smart, strong, and full of life-someone who lit up every room.

Kari is survived by her loving daughters, Kaylei and Shayla, her cherished grandchildren, Aubree, Easton, and Kali Mae, her brother, Mark Parsons, cousin, Dawn, uncle Mike, and aunt, Lynn Parsons.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jerry and Linda Parsons, her sister, Tracey Parsons, her grandmothers, Edna Hoosier and Edith Parsons, and her grandfather, Bill Parsons.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 28, at 2 p.m. at City Light Church, 5076 South Terrace, Chattanooga, Tn. 37412.
