Little Ry’Air Rashun Maddox, the precious infant son of Rashunda Maddox and Ty Jarrius Hubbard of Chattanooga, Tennessee, departed this life unexpectedly on Monday morning, June 9, 2025, at Erlanger Medical Center.

Born on March 19, 2025, in Chattanooga, Ry’Air was only here for a short while, but he brought a lifetime of love and joy to those who cherished him.

Little Ry’Air was his mother’s first child, and from the moment he arrived, he captured the hearts of his entire family. His sweet presence filled their lives with light, laughter, and deep love. Though his passing is believed to be due to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS), his memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who loved him.

In addition to his loving parents, Ry’Air is survived by his big brother, Kaycee Zyair Davis; grandparents, Cartessa Maddox, Antonio Roberson, and Demetric Crockett; great-grandparents, Virginia Gail Maddox and Deborah Glatt; aunts and uncles, Monique Maddox, Felicia Maddox, Amya Maddox, Jamya Williams, Tommesha Hubbard, Orlando Harris, and Jeff Armour; great-aunts and great-uncles, Alex Maddox, Reggie Maddox, Sandra K. and Haylen Jackson, and Shuron Glatt; and a host of cousins and other extended family members who will always remember him with love.
