Richard Beville Westbrook, 71, of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, June 20, 2025, in a local health care facility.
Richard was a proud former employee of Norfolk Southern Railroad and was known for his love of the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing and had a passion for piloting ultralight airplanes. He was of the Baptist faith and lived a life marked by quiet strength and devotion to his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Riley and Elizabeth Beville Westbrook, and his brothers, Allen, Wayne, and Jim.
Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 40 years, Connie Westbrook; cherished daughter, Alicia and son-in-law, Ben Secrest; and several extended family members and friends.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 25, from 6-8 p.m. at Legacy Funeral Home and Cremation Center. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 26, at 1 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Eggert officiating. Entombment will follow at Hamilton County Memorial Park.
