Heather Cutler Qualls
Heather Cutler Qualls, 54, of Rossville, passed away on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at a local hospital.
Heather was a lifelong resident of the North Georgia area. She was a 1989 graduate of Rossville High School where she enjoyed playing softball. Heather was a banker by trade, having worked for over 10 years at First Tennessee Bank and was currently working with Truist Bank at the Rossville/Dodds Avenue Branch. Heather was a people person. She saw the good in everyone and was always looking for ways to help others in need. Heather enjoyed volunteering her time with different organizations in the area, she was known for her knowledge in TV Trivia, and she was an avid sports fan especially Alabama Football. Heather loved her husband, children, and grandchildren dearly and she will be missed by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Alan Cutler; and mother, Darlene Grodzki.
Survivors include her husband, Lonnie Qualls; two children, Ashlie Young and Zachary Williams; two sisters, Angela (Hal) Smedley and Stacie Cutler; six grandchildren, Ty Marsh, Isaiah Young, Elijah Cosby, Crimson Marsh, Nevaeh Penn, and Christopher Penn, Jr.; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 19, at the South Crest Chapel with Pastor Bobby Walston officiating.
The family will receive friends from 12-2 p.m. on Saturday, July 19, at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
