It was a cold wintery day in late February 1912, but the Chattanooga Commissioners were already focused on welcoming Spring to the city when Commissioners H. Clay Evans and T. C. Betterton introduced a resolution at the commission meeting. Lookouts Sweep Doubleheader With Two More One Run Wins

The Chattanooga Lookouts beat the Montgomery Biscuits twice on Saturday evening, both games ending with a 5-4 victory. The Lookouts have now won seven of their last eight games with six of the seven being by a one run margin. In Game One the Lookouts trailed 4-1 entering the bottom of the sixth inning.
