Efforts to scrap TVA for parts and sell to private industry for pennies on the dollar are not new. Even before TVA existed, the dam and munitions plant at Muscle Shoals was the subject of the same debate after WWI; the fight by George Norris to keep that from happening is part of the reason Norris Dam bears his name. Lookouts Lose Heartbreaker In The Ninth

The Chattanooga Lookouts headed into the bottom of the ninth leading the Blue Wahoos 3-2 but couldn't hold on as Pensacola walked it off with two runs to win 4-3 in the series finale. Reliever Arij Fransen walked the leadoff batter in the ninth inning followed by a bunt base hit by Shane Sasaki. After a line out for the first out of the inning, Fransen walked yet another hitter to load the bases. Leadoff hitter Michael Snyder then ended the game with a double to left field.
