Alabama lead guitarist, Jeff Cook, and his wife, Lisa Cook, will entertain during the annual Helene DiStefano Fund Luncheon.
This year’s luncheon is to be held on Wednesday, April 23, National Secretaries Day from noon until 1:30 at the new ballroom in the Chattanooga Convention and Trade Center.
Lillie Shockney, R.N. and Director of Education and Outreach at Johns Hopkins Breast Center, is the keynote speaker. Ms. Shockney is a breast cancer survivor, and provides both men and women with education and humor on treatment and recovery.
Individual tickets are $40 per person and corporate tables and sponsorships are available.
Lynn Curtis, executive director of the fund, said, "Celebrate Administrative Professionals Day/National Secretaries Day with your staff at the annual Helene DiStefano Fund Luncheon. The very women this day honors, members of the International Administrative Assistant Professionals, host the event to raise money to assist local families in financial crisis when the mother has breast cancer.
"With the monies raised, the Helene DiStefano Fund provides assistance with medications, utilities, food, childcare and other necessities of living."
