Retha Mae Nettles, 72, of Ringgold, died on Wednesday, December 21, 2005, in a local hospital.
She was a longtime resident of the North Georgia area. She was a member of Harbor of Faith Church of God.
Mrs. Nettles was preceded in death by her son, William J. Nettles, Jr.
She is survived by her husband, William J. Nettles, Sr.; sons, Robert Nettles, Lafayette, James Hendricks, Ringgold; daughters, Vinie White, Ringgold, Lena Jackson, Ringgold; sisters, Julie Jackson, Sand Mountain, Madie Owensby, Rossville, Geneva Dunn, Rossville; grandchildren, Angie Hill, Lorie Templeton, Robert Nettles, Jr., Michelle Nettles, April Forster, Allison Williams; five great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the South Crest Chapel with Rev. Tim Ashley officiating. Burial will follow at Lakewood South Memory Gardens.
Visitation is after 1 p.m. on Thursday at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory.
