Robert "Bobby" Earl Dyar, Jr., 71, was born on July 20, 1952.

He was a graduate of Chattanooga class of 1973. Bobby retired from Loveman’s, Profits and Belk after 30 years of service.

He was preceded in death by both of his parents Robert E. Dyar Sr and Mazie Dyar.

He was survived by his only brother, Phillip Dyar Sr (Phyllis); nephew, Phillip Dyar Jr (Lindsey); niece, Amy Dyar Brady (Mitchell), two great-nephews, Dacoda Brady and Gavyn Brady, great-niece, Nevaeh Dyar, and several aunts and uncles.

Bobby loved watching NASCAR racing, wrestling and law enforcement shows. His greatest pastime was monitoring local police and EMS on his scanner. He was loved by everyone and never met a stranger. Bobby was ready to meet his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ when he left the ones he loved behind on Tuesday, May 14.

We would like to extend our gratitude to the staff of the Neuro floor at Memorial Hospital and the staff of Hospice of Chattanooga Dayton office.

Visitation is from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 18.

Services will follow at 3 p.m. at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home with Bishop Tim Geer officiating. Interment will be at 2 p.m. on Monday, May 20, in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
