James Blevins Weathers, 71, of Chattanooga, TN, died on March 15, 2005 at his residence. He was a lifelong resident of the area.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Blev and Mamie (Hale) Weathers, and four brothers, Gordon, Leonard, Jimmy Max, and Hershel Weathers.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Weathers of Chattanooga, TN, four sons, Jimmy Weathers of Cloudland, GA, Eddie Weathers of Chickamauga, GA, Jeff Weathers of Pensacola, FL, Jason Weathers of Chattanooga, TN; three daughters, Susie Wood, and Betty Crutchfield, both of Chickamauga, GA, Rita Crider of Cloudland, GA; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, in the chapel of Wilson Funeral Home with the Reverend James Blackmon officiating.
The family will receive friends after 5 p.m. on Thursday.
Internment will follow at Mount Olive Cemetery on lookout Mountain.
