The Fine Arts Are Thriving At Barger Academy - And Response

  • Saturday, December 6, 2008

Thank You Chattanoogan.com for featuring our wonderful school, Barger Academy, on your photo gallery. Our "Choraleers" were so excited to sing at the airport Friday and what a great opportunity to show something fabulous going on in our public schools.

We have a wonderful Fine Arts program under the direction of Juana Wilson-Roberts and our students are so fortunate to be able to be a part of this program. As one of the teachers, I just wanted to say thank you and to say how proud I am of our students and staff at Barger Academy of Fine Arts.

Our students are becoming lifelong learners as they are being exposed to the arts and as the arts are integrated into our curriculum. We encourage any and all to come visit and see for yourself what a wonderful place Barger Academy of Fine Arts really is.

As a former teacher of Barger Academy of Fine Arts, it was a pleasure to read that the arts are still alive and thriving at this school.

Barger Academy is a hidden gem in Hamilton County, and I am happy to see it get the positive attention it deserves.

More people need to know there are exciting things happening at Barger. Keep up the great work Barger Choraleers and staff.
