Bill Wallace
Veteran media executive Bill Wallace has left retirement to join The Moriah Group as senior account executive, the Chattanooga-based strategic communications and public affairs firm has announced. Mr. Wallace retired from WRCB-TV in May 2007 after a 23-year career in Chattanooga.

Mr.
Wallace’s 40-year career in local television news began as a teenager in Atlanta where he worked his way to executive producer of news at WAGA-TV. He moved to Chattanooga in 1984 to become news director at WTVC-TV (ABC) and then to WRCB-TV (NBC) where he was the news director for 18 years - the longest anyone has ever held that position at any Chattanooga television station.
Mr. Wallace is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a degree in Journalism and a minor in English. He also completed executive training at the University of Pennsylvania, Northwestern University and the University of Michigan. Mr. Wallace serves as a lector at St. Timothy's Episcopal Church and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Mountain Arts Community Center on Signal Mountain.
He lives on Signal Mountain with his wife, Cissy, a Chattanooga real estate broker. Mr. Wallace and Cissy have two grown daughters and two grandsons.
