CBL and Associates Properties held the official grand opening celebration for its new 76,000 square-foot office building, 2034 Hamilton Place Boulevard, on Thursday.

The new four-story building is located next to the company’s Headquarters, CBL Center, and adjacent to Hamilton Place mall.

The new building will include the corporate headquarters of EMJ Corporation, Vision Hospitality, as well as additional office space for other businesses.

Commenting on the expansion, CBL & Associates Properties, Inc. Chief Executive Officer, Charles B. Lebovitz, said, “The opening of 2034 Hamilton Place Boulevard further demonstrates CBL’s commitment to making a positive impact on the Chattanooga community, home to CBL’s headquarters. The new building will serve as another catalyst for economic and business growth in the market, creating an estimated 100 new jobs for the area.”

Mr. Lebovitz added, “2034 Hamilton Place also delivers on the strong demand in the area for quality Class-A office space. Located right in the heart of the Chattanooga retail hub, the new office building represents a perfect opportunity for service-oriented businesses to gain unparalleled access to their prime customer.”

“This new office building will heighten this area’s impact on our city, particularly in the realm of economic growth,” said Mayor Ron Littlefield. “CBL is a valuable asset to our great city. Their dedication to their properties and smart growth of the area is just one of the many reasons this new addition to Chattanooga is a welcome one.”

“CBL has provided hundreds of jobs in our city,” added Mayor Littlefield. “They are a major player in the economic development of Chattanooga.”

“More than $4 million in annual city and county property tax is generated from properties owned by CBL,” said County Mayor Claude Ramsey. “With each new building and tenant, Hamilton County residents benefit. We are all eager to watch the tenants of this new office building on Hamilton Place Boulevard grow and positively impact our community.”
