Mary L. Lunny, 55, of Cleveland, died on Saturday, May 9, 2009.
She was originally from Newark, Oh., but has lived the last ten years in this area. She was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. She was of the Methodist faith and was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She will always be champagne and lace.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Gertrude Rutherford Foit; and three children, Danielle, Shaun and Shane Lunny.
She is survived by her husband, William Lunny of Cleveland; four children, Chris Noecker-Donmoyer of Tamaqua, Pa., Heather Lunny of Middleburg, Fla., William Lunny III and Ashley Lunny, both of Cleveland; grandchildren, Sebastian Noecker and Trystan Donmoyer; brother, John Robert Foit of Newark, Oh.; sister, Judy Abram of New Lexington, Oh.; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be conducted on Saturday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home. The service will conclude with a white dove release ceremony.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 1-2 p.m. prior to the service.
