Anna Calabro Hain, 79, of Chattanooga, died on Friday, January 22, 2010.

She was born on August 11, 1930 in Reading, Pa., to the late Francesca and Guiseppe Calabro.

She worked for Boscov’s Department store in Reading for 25 years before retiring in 1986.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Frank.

Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Harold “Snapper” Hain; daughter, Cindy (David) Carroll; two grandchildren, Christopher and Vincent Carroll; brother, Michael Calabro; sisters, Marsey Buono and Jennie Shalter; nephews and nieces.

A celebration of life mass will be held at St. Jude Catholic Church, 930 Ashland Terrace, on Monday, Jan. 25, at 11 a.m. with Father Miguel Velez officiating.

The family will meet friends in the vestibule of the church beginning at 10:30 a.m. that morning. A private graveside service will be held in Chattanooga National Cemetery.

Arrangements are by Lane Funeral Home, 601 Ashland Terrace.
