Lookouts Losing Streak Reaches Seven

The Chattanooga Lookouts continued their offensive funk on Friday night falling 4-2 to the Birmingham Barons. Since their 7-4 win on May 8th, the Lookouts have scored three runs once and two or less in the other six losses.

Starting pitcher Kevin Abel took the loss and moves to 1-5 on the season. He gave up four hits and three runs in four innings. At the plate the Lookouts collected six hits, highlighted by first baseman Ruben Ibarra's second homerun.

The Lookouts and Barons return to action Saturday night before concluding the series on Sunday afternoon.
