Bea Harvill, 87, not only went home to see her Lord and Savior but also to see her husband Lloyd Harvill on May 16, 2025.

Bea Harvill was known by many titles, mom, momma, and the one most knew her by was nanny. Nanny had a way of taking everyone she met under her arm and treating them like hers. The way Nanny showed her love was not through words but in quiet ways that were often overlooked. Nanny was a woman who showed her love through feeding everyone! She fed the bellies of countless people throughout the years. If you ever had the chance to try any of her meals, they were not easily forgotten. Nanny also showed her love through prayer. She was one of the most persistent prayer warriors. She had a way of thinking about things that most could not and she was praying about it with an indescribable faith long before anyone else. Nanny showed few emotions but for anyone who had the opportunity to know her, they quickly found out she had a heart bigger than anyone they knew! The last title that her family knew her as was the glue. She had her hand in raising every single one of her “babies,” whether that be keeping them in suitcases after promising she wasn’t keeping anymore babies, by staying awake until her son was asleep, or by having already made snacks made for when they got home. She held her family together by love, food, and silent prayers. Nanny was never one to want the spotlight, she often sat in the corner of a room, while people overlooked her but for her family and all the people who had the opportunity to love her, knew she was the true glue, backbone, and the person behind the scenes that ran our entire family. Nanny will truly be missed more than even she realized.
