The Krystal Company, headquartered in Chattanooga, opened a brand new downtown location on Broad Street on Monday.
Officials with the company said they are excited to bring the newest and most exciting Krystal restaurant model to their hometown and hope to better serve their customers in the new location.
The new Krystal restaurant, which opened to replace an old location on Broad Street, features a new restaurant model, as well as digital indoor menu boards.
The new restaurant opened at 6 a.m. and is at 3150 Broad Street. The grand opening is one of a series of new store openings around the southeast this year.
The opening was kicked off with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10 a.m. with officials from the Krystal Company, as well as Councilman Manny Rico present.
“We are excited to reopen our Broad Street location with a brand-new restaurant to better serve our customers,” said Brad Wahl, vice president of Marketing for the Krystal Company. “Krystal is truly a southern fast food icon, especially here in Chattanooga. This is our hometown and we are so thankful for our loyal Krystal Lovers who have made this success possible.”
Krystal will bring new menu offerings to the new location, such as the Barbeque Crispy Onion Krystal and a unique Strawberry Shortcake dessert feature. In addition, the Krystal Company, one of the first restaurants to offer Wi-Fi in all of its restaurants – free to their customers, will continue to offer this luxury. Customers can sit down in the dining room and enjoy their Wi-Fi experience while eating.
