Apison Baptist Church Has Food And Clothing

  • Monday, May 16, 2011

I just returned from the FEMA headquarters at Southern Adventist University as a volunteer counselor and headed to Apison Baptist Church to give a food donation. There was a huge discrepancy out there amongst those affected by the recent tornadoes about where to get food, water, etc. They think FEMA is going to give them food stamps just because their power was out a few days. That isn't what FEMA was established for.

Apison Baptist Church is loaded with food, water and clothing donations, and this is where people need to go who need these things. I mentioned this to both places, but it would be great if the news would report this, as well.
