In celebration of the 400th Anniversary of the King James Bible, Pastor Steve Cape and the members of the Hillside Baptist Church, 6311 Dayton Blvd., in Hixson, invite the public to attend the King James Bible Jubilee.

The church will celebrate the anniversary with a special "Bible Day," on Sunday, May 15, with guest Preacher Bob Lemmon, director of Bible and Literature Missionary Foundation, speaking at 9:50 a.m. and Dr. Shelton Smith, editor of Sword Of The Lord, speaking at 11 a.m.

Evangelist Stephen Shutt, from West Virginia, will teach about the Inspiration and Preservation of our Bible, at 5:30 p.m., and then Dr. Smith will preach again in the evening service at 6:30 p.m.

There will be a very rare collection of first edition Bibles printed in the 1500's and 1600's on display during the Jubilee.

The jubilee will continue May 16-18 at 7 p.m., with special morning sessions on Tuesday and Wednesday, starting at 9 a.m.

Other guest preachers will include Dr. Bill Wininger, from Douglasville, Ga.; Dr. Jeff Fugate, from Lexington, Ky.; Pastor Dave Baker, from Columbia, Tn.; and Pastor Brian Evans, from Flowery Branch, Ga.

Soul-stirring music will be provided each service by many guest musicians and singers. The church will also be coordinating with Bible and Literature Missionary Foundation, Shelbyville, Tn., in the collating of 400 whole King James Bibles on the church property.
