As part of the 10-day “10 x 10” arts event hosted by MakeWork. CapitalMark’s bank lobby at 801 Broad St. will showcase artist Mia Bergeron’s portrait paintings during bank hours (8:30 a.m.–5 p.m.) through April 22.
Ms. Bergeron, originally from New York, has studied at the Rhode Island School of Design and Charles H. Cecil studio in Italy.
A MakeWork grant recipient in 2008, she now resides in Chattanooga and teaches art classes through Townsend Atelier.
Marketing & Communications Director Stefanie Crowe said, "We're proud of our revitalized bank office and knew the space would be the perfect backdrop for Mia's beautiful portraits.
We appreciate our Director Candy Kruesi who is a strong advocate of MakeWork and 10 x 10. Candy envisioned our partnership and made it happen. Seeing Mia’s work now installed, we won't want to let them go."
