Bobbie Jo King Arrested In Bradley County For Stealing A Car And Other Charges

À stolen vehicle was recovered in Bradley County on Wednesday, with the help of an alert citizen and Bradley County sheriff’s deputy.

The Bradley County Sheriff’s Office received a call from a private citizen stating he was in traffic behind a 1995 Nissan Maxima that was reported stolen on Sunday. A Bradley County officer, Sam Collins, then took position behind the stolen car as the driver headed north on North Lee Highway, turning onto Lauderdale Highway then North Mouse Creek Road, where the driver crashed.

The driver of the stolen vehicle was identified as Bobbie Jo King, 26, of Highway 60.

She was uninjured in the traffic crash, and was booked into the Bradley County Jail for theft over $1,000, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving on a suspended license and a probation violation.

Sheriff Eric Watson thanked the alert citizen for contacting the sheriff’s office and commended Deputy Collins for his effort to make the arrest of Ms. King.
