Joel Baxter Cooper, 23, of Dalton, GA, died on Sunday, February 9, 2014 as a result of a motorcycle accident in Tampa Bay, FL.

Joel was a graduate of Northwest Whitfield High School. Joel will always be remembered for how he lived his life to the fullest of every moment, dreamed bigger than most of us, and impacted every life he touched. His smile and memories will forever bring us joy.

He is survived by his parents, Ken and Melanie Cooper of Dalton; brother, Jonathan Cooper and his wife Ashley; sisters, Mallory Cooper and Isabelle Cooper; grandparents, Dan and Lynn Bruner; grandparents, DeWitt and Darien Cooper; nephew, Ethan Cooper; and many other close relatives.

A memorial service to honor the life of Joel will be held Saturday, February 15, at 3:30 p.m. at Church on the Hill with Rev. Eddie Taylor officiating.

The family will receive friends at the Westside Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home Friday, February 14, from 6-9 p.m.

Julian Peeples Funeral Home, Westside Chapel, Rocky Face, is in charge of funeral arrangements.
