Ellen Bivens
Ellen Shields Bivens, 86, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, died on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 in a local health care facility.
She was a member of Spring Creek Baptist Church, retired from SunTrust Bank and was a long time employee of Railway Express. She loved her children and especially her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh W. Bivens, parents, Tee H. Shields, Sr. and Johnnie Parsons Shields and brothers, Tee Jr., Bobby, Edward, John and David Shields.
Survivors include her children, Warren Bivens, Brenda (Billy) Case, and Neal (Angie) Bivens, sister, Ann White, five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, May 16, at 11 a.m. in the Greenwood Cemetery with the Brother Bennie Mills officiating.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 15, from 4-8 p.m. in the funeral home.
Arrangements are by the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory at the end of Historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
