Dryer Fire Damages House On E. 14th Street

A dryer fire damaged a house on E. 14th Street on Saturday night.

At 8:49 p.m., the Chattanooga Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 2017 E. 14th. It took four fire companies 20 minutes to get the structure fire under control. 

No one was injured.

The resident was not home at the time of the fire. 

An investigator was called to the scene and he determined the fire to be an accidental dryer fire.
