Beulah M Vaughn, 84, of Cleveland, TN, passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2014.
She was born on February 1, 1930 to the late Carl and Lillie Mae Callihan. She was a lifelong resident of this area. Beulah loved looking at flowers, bird watching, reading, and watching Westerns.
In addition to her mother and father, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Kenneth Gates; one daughter, Kathy Gates; one step-son, Gary Vaughn; and step-daughter, Irene Moynihan.
She is survived by her husband, James Wesley Vaughn; five children, Lamar Gates (Irene), Phyllis Murray, Debbie Farris (Fletcher), Janie Osborne (Jason) and Michael Gates; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and several other extended family members and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 20, at Lebanon Baptist Church on Old Parksville Road in Cleveland. Pastor Fletcher Farris will be officiating the service.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, September 19, at the church. Interment will follow the service on Saturday in the Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery.
