Blanche T. Ledford, 87, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at her home.

She was a supervisor for several years at South Central Bell Telephone Company. At the time of her retirement she was secretary and treasurer for Ledford Machine & Supply Company. She was a member of North Cleveland Church of God.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William F. “Red” Ledford; parents, Sherman and Kate Henderson Tatum; sisters, Ruth Tatum, Juanita Oliver and Edith Sloan; and brothers, Fred Tatum and Charles Tatum.

Survivors include her sons, Terry Ledford and wife, Mary of Madison, AL and David Ledford and wife, Pam of Cleveland; six grandchildren, Jennifer Ledford, Chris Ledford and wife, Amy, Justin Ledford, Patricia Ledford, Autumn Monroe and Danielle Monroe; great granddaughters, Lila Ledford and Laura Tate; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 3 in the chapel of Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home with the Reverend Mack Streun officiating. Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with Justin Ledford, Chris Ledford, Jeff Parker, Randy Fowler, Brandon Simons and Tim Taylor serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.

Her family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 2 at the Fike Funeral Home, who has charge of the arrangements.
