Sanders, Daniel Everett (Cleveland)

Daniel Everett Sanders, 84, of Cleveland, TN, passed away on Sunday afternoon, March 29, 2015 at his home.

He was born on August 27, 1930 during the depression in Pensacola, FL to the late Earl Winston Sanders and Willie Lee Sanders Lovins. Daniel was of the Baptist faith and a member of Philippi Baptist Church. He has made Cleveland, TN his home for the past twenty years. He grew up in Pensacola, FL and he got his first job at the age of seventeen at the paper mill. He owned a Pure Oil Station as a young man. Daniel worked for the Mobile Press Register and Van's Photo until his retirement. He was married to his beloved wife Ernestine for fifty five years. Together they loved to travel to the Southwest and spent their remaining years living in East Tennessee. Daniel was loved and cherished by his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one son, Danny Ray Sanders; one daughter, Marjorie Ann Cain; four sisters, Myrtle Estelle Bain, Ruby Louise Peterson, Minnie Lee Sanders and Mamie Lee Sanders; and two brothers, William Earl Sanders and Robert Ernest Sanders. 

Daniel is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Ernestine Sanders; four daughters, Rita Jean Nobles, Charlotte Diane Kite, Sara Starla Landrum and Peggy Louise Cain; two sons, Ronald Douglas Sanders and Jesse Edward Cain; 19 grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; numerous other extended family members; and a host of special friends. 

A celebration of his life is planned for Friday, April 3 at 11 a.m. at the Faith Chapel Funeral Home South located at 100 Beverly Avenue in Pensacola, FL. Interment will follow in the Bayview Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 2 at the Faith Chapel Funeral Home from 5-7 p.m. 

There will be a local memorial service announced at a later date to be held at the Philippi Baptist Church  in Cleveland.
