  • Monday, May 11, 2015

The Bradley County School Board will choose between two finalists for a new school director to replace Johnny McDaniel, who was fired in a close board vote.

Bill Heath has been director of Lawrence County Schools since 2007. A former math teacher at UTK, he was principal of St. John High School from 2000-2007.

Dr. Linda Cash is assistant director of schools for Robertson County Schools. She was named to that post in July 2013 after serving as the assistant dean of graduate education at Union University. She was formerly a principal of an elementary school at Gallatin.

The board will make a decision on May 26.
