Anita Gail Cooper Turman, 63, of Chattanooga and formerly of Dalton passed away on Monday, August 17, 2015.
She was a member of Mountain Ridge Missionary Baptist Church, and was preceded in death by her two sons, Julian Maurice Cooper and Ernest Oliver, Jr.; and parents, Julian and Ollie Mae Cooper.
Survivors are her husband, LaBron Turman of Chattanooga; sister, Cathy (Phillip) McPherson; brothers, Bernard (Cheryl) Betton, Lanny (Eunice) Cooper, Derrick (Talitha) Cooper and Terrance Cooper of Dalton and Renard (Cynthia) Cooper of Conley, GA; aunt, Catherine Blackwell of Dalton; and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be Monday, Aug. 24 at 1 p. m. at Mountain Ridge Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Jerry D. Jones officiating. Interment will follow in West Hill Cemetery.
Her remains will lie in state at the funeral home on Sunday, Aug. 23 after 11 a. m.
