Linda Davis
Linda Davis, 69, of Rossville, won her 10-year battle with cancer on December 13, 2016.
Mrs. Davis was born on Oct. 1, 1947, to Calvin and Carolyn Wallace. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She loved going to the Gulf Shores and playing gooney golf. She would always keep a flower from the many roses that her husband would give her each year for their wedding anniversary.
Survivors include her husband of 44½ years, James Davis; daughters, Starla (Robby) Thomas and Jamie (Randy) Leonard; grandchildren, Brittany Thomas, Brandon Thomas Dakota Leonard, and Dustin Leonard. Great grandchildren, Aiden Leonard and Peyton Leonard; sisters, Barbara Drain, Wanda Drain and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of her life will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 16, in the South Crest Chapel. Interment will follow in the Lakewood Memory Gardens South.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, from 4–8 p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home & Crematory, at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
