Donnie Ray Hamilton, 88, of Chattanooga, died on Monday, May 16, 2016.

He was a member of St. John United Methodist Church. Donnie retired from MITCO where he was a tire salesman for many years.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Hamilton and son, Ray Hamilton. 

Survivors include his children, Lynda Hamilton and Jerry Hamilton; grandson, Jeremy Thomas (Erica); great grandchildren, Logan and Trey and his best friend and caregiver, Barbara Marsh. 

There will be a gathering for family and friends starting at 5 p.m. on Monday, May 23, at St. John United Methodist Church followed by a memorial service at 6 p.m. with Pastor Carl Blackburn and Pastor Tommy Messer officiating. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the St. John United Methodist Church Youth and Children Ministry.
