BlueCross Honors Veterans At Nov. 10 Ceremony

  • Thursday, November 9, 2017
BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee will honor area veterans at its 2017 Veterans Recognition event on Nov. 10 at 1:30 p.m. on Cameron Hill in Chattanooga. More than 200 veterans employed at BlueCross are expected to attend.

This year’s event will feature a special guest - retired Marine Corps Colonel Wayne Rich. Rich served on active duty from 1968-1971 and on reserve duty until his retirement in 1998. He also served in Baghdad under both the U.S. Department of State as a Rule of Law Coordinator and in the U.S.
Department of Justice as a Resident Legal Advisor for Judicial Training.

Since 2005, Rich has dedicated much of his time to volunteer work in the Chattanooga area – supporting wounded warriors, USMC recruiters and Gold Star families (the families of service members killed in combat).
