Family Of 4 Displaced After House Fire In Brainerd

A home was damaged by fire in the Brainerd area Saturday night.
 
Chattanooga firefighters responded to a house fire at 3325 Idlewild Drive at 10:39 p.m. Firefighters from Engine 5 arrived to find smoke showing and located a working fire in a bedroom of the residence. The fire was rendered under control within five minutes.
With a total of five fire companies on scene, the fire was contained to the bedroom.
 
No one was injured; however, a family of four (one man and three children) was displaced. The cause of the fire is under investigation. 
 
Other agencies involved were Chattanooga Police, Hamilton County EMS, Electric Power Board and the American Red Cross.
