Derrick Isom, 38, Shot Monday Night

Derrick Isom, 38, was shot while exiting a vehicle at the 2700 block of 12th Avenue around 11:55 p.m. Monday, according to a witness.  

Hamilton County EMS transported Isom to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.  He was unable to provide a description of the suspect.

Members of the Violent Crimes Bureau are following up on all leads. Chattanooga Police ask anyone with information regarding this incident to call 423 698-2525.
