Hugh Robison "Rob" Caldwell, Jr., passed away on August 19, 2017.

He was born on April 24, 1956 in Greenwood, Ms. As a graduate of the University of Mississippi, some knew Rob as the biggest fan of Ole Miss football. As an avid whitewater kayaker, some knew him for his love of the river. To some he was Doctor, a healer when times were most difficult. To others he was Wing, a quick wit and a playful sense of humor. He was a husband, a father, and a friend to anyone he met. And everyone knew him for his love and unfailing devotion to those around him—family, friends, and patients—all of whom are better for it.

He was preceded in death by his father Hugh Robison Caldwell Sr.; sister Elizabeth "Betsy" Caldwell; and grandparents Walter and Lula Caldwell and Charlie and Betsy Abbott.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 32 years, Georgia Caldwell; son Hugh Robison Caldwell III "Robby" and his wife Meghan; daughter Hanna Burke and her husband Dylan; and his mother Mary Frances Caldwell. In addition to these, he leaves behind a host of extended family members and friends, especially his family who were a part of the Parkridge East ER Group.

A celebration of life memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 22, at Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown RD NW, Cleveland, TN 37311. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 3-4 p.m.

You are invited to share a personal memory of Rob or your condolences with his family at his online memorial located at www.companionfunerals.com. Companion Funeral and Cremation Service and the Cody family are honored to assist the Caldwell family with these arrangements.
